The Journey to Self-Love: How to Let Go of What Drains You and Embrace Your Inner Hearts Truth
Navigating Self-Discovery and Leading with Integrity in a World of Energy Distractions
As we journey through self-discovery and personal growth, we reach a pivotal moment where confronting our energy drainers becomes essential to our ascension. This involves distinguishing between our inner experiences and the external world. Recognizing our humanity grants us the freedom and power to choose our paths, much like selecting options for a video game character. Whether it's specific individuals, circumstances, or personal habits that deplete our energy and distract us from our purpose, identifying and releasing these drains demands both bravery and courage. I refer to this transformative process as "Decluttering Your Destiny" which I will be teaching later this year.
Our prana is too important, and our purpose in life too meaningful, to be diluted by those who don't respect our boundaries or value the give-and-take of our energies. It's vital to let go of anyone who's broken our trust over and over, as they only end up taking more of our precious energy.
However, in the process of letting go, we must look at ourselves in the mirror and see if we've been untrue to who we are. Betraying ourselves can look like many things – ignoring our intuition to compromising our values for the sake of others to appease their feelings. Eventually, the truth makes itself known, and it's important to admit if we've veered off our authentic path. The path of betrayal is always about the self.
As we stand firm in our integrity amidst chaos and adversity, we become beacons of light for others. Being a witness to their journey allows us to shine a light on the patterns and stories they are operating from. Yet, we cannot force others to see or learn; we can only hold the lantern and offer guidance.
Lately, I've been reminded of the significance of following my inner light and listening closely to the compass of my heart. After a life-changing 17-day pilgrimage in Egypt with my star nation sisters in December, I was left with impactful messages from Sekhmet herself:
“How can you stand in your power amongst the storm around you?”
“How can you speak the truth, when everyone else cowers?”
“Against all unwavering odds, how can you stand in honor, integrity, and truth for this new world?”
This past month has been a journey of deep reflection and reevaluating my foundational beliefs. I've been turning the soil of my soul, again and again, until I finally reached the fertile ground beneath. It's been a profound act of self-love, a testament to my dedication to personal growth and healing.
In a world standing in a pool of victimhood and suffering frequencies, I can see the light and beauty that still exists. When I was asked how and why? My answer came as we must continue tilling and nurturing our soil through the seasons. It's crucial to prioritize ourselves first, to dig deep, and embark on the journey of self-exploration. This path we walk as humans begins from within. It starts in your own heart, at home. The peace, safety, and security you seek starts and finishes within yourself. The wheel. That's the real work - gaining self-awareness of your current situation, acknowledging your part in any falsehoods or betrayals, and choosing to start anew, one step at a time. Because I’ll assure you, no one is going to save you. You are your own savior. By embracing and respecting yourself, you make a pledge to stay true to who you are, no matter the external uncertainties and doubts. Guilt and worry are wasted energy and will drag you down. The universe isn’t working against you. You are working against yourself.
You get to choose the blue pill or the red pill: EASY OR HARD?
I invite you to find the courage and strength to let go of what no longer serves you and embrace self-love and self-respect. Release the sad stories that bind you. Stand proud as a pillar of honor and truth, guiding others with compassion and empathy. Together, we can dismantle outdated systems and welcome a future that's true to who we are. LOVE.
